<p>Picked up Wired magazine while traveling last week and flipped to <a href="http://www.wired.com/techbiz/people/magazine/16-12/ff_kaminsky" target="_blank">this story</a>.  At first it seemed like just another story about a coder who gets his kicks exposing flaws but as I read on it was clear the potential impact of what he had found.  I am not going to give away the plot (trust me, read this article) but it is fair to say he stumbled upon a major issue in the core of DNS technology.</p>
<p>Great reminder on how &#8220;new&#8221; and vulnerable the internet is.</p>
