Picked up Wired magazine while traveling last week and flipped to this story.  At first it seemed like just another story about a coder who gets his kicks exposing flaws but as I read on it was clear the potential impact of what he had found.  I am not going to give away the plot (trust me, read this article) but it is fair to say he stumbled upon a major issue in the core of DNS technology.

Great reminder on how “new” and vulnerable the internet is.
